As-is policy:

The opposite to a returning policy is an as-is policy. It means that all the goods sold are non-exchangeable.

Once bought, a customer does not have the option of returning the products. The as-is policy drives off would-be customers when they see the absence of a return policy.

Many online retail businesses carry the viewpoint that an as-is policy is better for them. It saves them from all the hassles that come when customers are returning or exchanging goods. What these businesses fail to see is that the absence of a return policy is seen as a failure on their part by many customers. Customers believe that the businesses should have the trust and confidence on their own products and provide a return policy. Due to this fact, many customers are driven away from shopping at online businesses if they do not find a return policy.

It will make a good impact and increase the customer’s confidence in your business.
